We were founded in 1998 by tribal women and men who believed that to solve problems of the tribal region, the involvement of the community was necessary.

Where we work

Where we work

KAS began its work in Kotra block of Udaipur district. Kotra is a tribal populated area where 95% of the population belongs to Bhil and Garasiya tribes. 39% of the land in the forest in Kotra and it is a part of the community’s livelihood. Apart from Kotra, KAS works with the community in Falasiya, Jhadol & Girva of Udaipur district and Pindwada of Sirohi district. From villages in South Rajasthan to migrant laborers in Sumerpur of Pali district, we work with all of them.
