Women leadership development

The situation of women in tribal society is better than women of other societies but patriarchy exists in tribal society too. Issues like no participation in decision making, no share in land & property, violence, etc. are present which hinders the development of women. We are assisting women to fight against these issues by developing their leadership qualities. We do this by building awareness on women’s laws & rights and their active participation in gram sabha meetings where they can talk about issues affecting them. Along with this, we have formed groups for adolescent girls in which we work with girls on issues like health, education, and career (or livelihood).
